The TRAFICRON™ and TRAFICRON™ Plus Process

TRAFICRON™ is our process for finishing hot dip galvanized steel which consists of our carefully chosen blend of metal cleaners, sealers, primers and top coating. We incorporate a proven method of application and time between each stage of the TRAFICRON™ process.

Why choose TRAFICRON™?

• Anti corrosive protection is provided through the hot dip galvanizing process.
  TRAFICRON™ offers the chemical metal preparation to avoid compromising of galvanized substrate. Primer is used to enhance adhesion properties. The top coat provides long lasting attractive high gloss finishes of any desired colour.
• Up to a ten year life expectancy.
  The TRAFICRON™-two-component acrylic urethane provides up to a ten year life expectancy for colour and gloss retention, dependant upon UV exposure.
• 25+ years of performance in critical areas.
  TRAFICRON™ PLUS utilizes our flouropolymer technology process that will provide 25+ years of performance in critical areas such as colour retention, film erosion and chemical resistance. TRAFICRON™ PLUS also meets AAMA 2605-98 specifications.

Both TRAFICRON™ and TRAFICRON™ PLUS are warranteed for adhesion for a minimum period of two years. Ask your approved applicator for details or contact us for your next project.
